Centro Interdipartimentale "L.Galvani"

The centre promotes collaboration between researchers inside the biomedical area, pure and applied science, and humanities. It owns advanced laboratories and serve as a bridge between scientific literature as a professional medium of scientific research, and the realms of popular political and cultural discourse.

Luigi Galvani

Luigi Galvani (September 9, 1737 – December 4, 1798) was an Italian physician and physicist who lived and died in Bologna, he was one of the first forays into the study of bioelectricity, a field that still today studies the electrical patterns and signals of the nervous system.
